Rubery Book Award – 2

Second prize Rubery Book AwardI have managed to get a photo of me with my Rubery Book Award plaque.

Otherwise, very quiet on the blog front. I’m working hard to revise The Piano Player’s Son in time to enter it for a competition – deadline 14th August! Will I make it? Don’t know but I’m spending hours on it every day, so hope something is happening!

Hurry up with the Piano Player’s Son … just picked up Unravelling in a charity shop in Stow in the Wold !, it just seemed to stand out, so glad it did, a fantastic read, (although don’t think i’ll ever have that type of relationship with my ex !!) it sadly had to come to an end no matter how much I tried to eek it out. It felt like a book about ‘home’ as I live in Dorset nr Bournemouth and travel regularly to family outside Lyme ! So thats why I’m here trying to see if there is more!! yours in anticipation, Lisa

    Hi Lisa
So glad you enjoyed ‘Unravelling’. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I’m hoping ‘The Piano Player’s Son’ will be out some time next year. In the meantime, the best I can offer is the anthology ‘Feeding the Cat’ which has three of my short stories in it, including the title story.
    Best wishes
    Lindsay
