I have attended several of Lindsay’s writing fiction courses, and have always found the experience stimulating and worthwhile. Her students’ natural abilities are developed and encouraged within an environment of trust, thus enabling them to explore new techniques, ideas and genres. The focus is always on ‘learning to write through writing’, and the techniques she teaches are developed through exercises which are both challenging and fun. Attendance at one of her workshops will give a budding writer a very good foundation on which to build.

Lindsay is a sensitive and talented tutor. She has the gift of being able to develop the confidence of her students, ensuring each one discovers the best of their creative writing potential.

I thoroughly enjoyed the two creative writing courses I took with Lindsay and have gained so much from her tuition.
I was reluctant to attempt any poetry, but found that it wasn’t as impenetrable as I’d feared. In fact, I absolutely loved it. I’ve since performed at a poetry slam, supported one of my favourite performance poets, Attila the Stockbroker, and been asked whether I’d be interested in performing at a few festivals in the summer.
Thanks to Lindsay’s courses I have also had an article published in Herefordshire Life magazine (paid!) and am just over half way through my first novel.
I’m so grateful to Lindsay for everything I’ve learned in the last couple of years. I had a feeling that I would quite like writing, I just had no idea I’d enjoy it this much!

I found the course challenging. The standard of teaching is high, and learning from others in the group was also very valuable.

I really appreciated the way Lindsay helped me see the positive and negative aspects of my writing. It was great to have the good bits affirmed, but she also helped me see where I could improve.
